Normalien students (agrégation obtained at the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay) and Engineer (ENSAM) by training, Laurent Joblot teaches since 2002 at ENSAM in Cluny. His teaching focuses on industrial organization and operational excellence. As such, he was the ENSAM manager for the creation of the Institute of Operational Excellence (Inexo) in Lyon. After a doctorate aimed at developing a BIM Maturity Model in renovation (BiM2FR), he also carries out his research work at LISPEN via the Ensam Image Institute in Chalon Sur Saône. Interested in understanding the changes linked to the reorganization and digitalization of the building sector, he is more generally interested in the concept of "construction 4.0", ranging from cyber-physical industrial systems to Virtual, Mixed or Augmented Reality techniques.
