Curriculum vitae :
Olivier Cardin is an assistant professor of the Technology Institute of Nantes University and at the LS2N laboratory since 2008. He teaches mainly production management and robotics. He is co-chairman of the IMS² working group "Intelligent Manufacturing Systems and Services" of the French research group MACS of CNRS. His research topics are centered on industrial engineering, with a particular focus on industrial cyber-physical systems applied to manufacturing systems. His expertise covers the holonic paradigm, discrete event flow simulation and the digital twin of manufacturing systems.
